There's a lamb in the field but it's made out of trees

Hopelessly lying in the boundaries of ok.  

Inspired by people, empathy, how we connect to one another and life's ordinarily strange scenarios. I like to create spontaneous drawings, paintings and poems nodding to framed theatrical performances - small moments in time, in memories of the past or fearing the future. Reoccurring characters, shapes and difficulties appear but are disguised with words, innocence, colour and humour. 

In sculpture and installation I have an interest in rendered familiarity and the expectation of materials, restricted performance and creating characters and stories through situations and scenarios set up and left to be imagined.

I hope the viewer can find something relatable even if they do not know why.
